I just got done watchjing my flasher wrasse flying all over the tank and putting on some display. I tried catching it wit hte camera and didn't do very well. Anyway, I figured I'd post some newer pics
My euphyillia coral. I got it from reefscience.com. It is doing awesome, but I am not sure it has a common name.
Originally I wanted to get a Kole Tang, but I killed hte one I had in my QT . Instead< i got this Tomini Tang. He does three things.... eat algae, get groomed by the cleaner shrimp and cleaner goby and hide from my camera. I have come to really like him a lot. Plus I hear they are the smallest tangs. So far, he is very peaceful.
Next is my blackcap "builder" basslet. He constantly carries rubble, sometimes pieces nearly half his size, to the opening of his cave.
My absolute favorite fish is my Potters Angel. I know I got him too soon (for normal angels), but when I had a chance to buy one that was eating voraciously at the dealer's tank and I had been saving a bacxk wall of algae for the tang, I thought the risk worth it - especially when I saw the billions of pods in my tank (fresh grown phyto works wonders!). He grazes and loves to pose for pics - very outgoing and now he loves frozen, vegie and pellets!
And now the reason for the post - my dominant flasher wrasse. The only thing I have ever seen (besides a bar sign) that glows with the electric colors like this is a furcifer or foai from Lake Tanganyika. This fish is normally pretty, but when lit up, it is electrifying! Lately, it seems to flash every day
