SOme new macro pics...still a newbie

So here are some new pics that are uneditied. Any input would be good.

So I have been working on y white balance and trying to get true colors to shgow up. So these are my latest set and I think they came out pretty good. They were shot under attnics only. Next shots will be all lights. TIA

Sharpness and color look good but on my screen they all look a bit dark. Have you calibrated your monitor lately?

Not sure how to do that? So no.

The EXIF shows that you shot those at -2 E/V which means they are really underexposed. Bump the exposure compensation back up close to 0 and see how they turn out. This of course will slow the shutter speed down so make sure you are using a tripod. Also check the histogram to make sure you aren't overexposing after you take the shot, you don't want any blown highlights.

I like the last pics of the hairy mushroom and yellow zoas. Just keep trying..........Your off to a good start......

You probably need to ober expose a little a setting of +.5 would probably be about perfect.

Pics are very nice but I agree, a bit on the dark side.

So for the exposure that is the scale that goes from -2 to +2 correct? Thanks for help.
