Well, my corals seem very very happy after switching salts, lights and topping off with kalkwasser.

you definatly have some color up and growth there.did you change you whole lighting system or just different bulbs?

I changed the whole lighting system, went from 8 54 watt overdriven T5's to 4 250 watt halide XM 10k's with 2 54 watt T5 actinics....

What impressed me the most is the Rose Milli is encrusting and growing (noticeable) in three weeks. The first shot is a picture of it the day it went in the tank (within hours)

Millies are my favorites, and have a habit of growing fast. That's probably WHY I like them so much.

I know I should go find the right thread, but how do you like your kalk reactor? The milli really is looking good.

It's working very well, I do want to build one out of the acrylic we are talking about so that I can see the media.

With the combination of my Shuran Calcium reactor and topping off with kalk it seems to be nothing but good... The biggest thing I have noticed is after my "incident" and I had the algae outbreak, it is slowly going away now and the growth on the corals is fantastic. There where a couple of SPS's I thought I had lost but they are making a comeback.

what salt did you used to use and whats the new salt that you're using now?

I was using IO, changed over to Tropic Marin Pro Reef.
