I bow to your greatness!!!!!!!!

What microscope?
What camera DSLR or Motic type?
Did you use stacking on pic 2 of spine? What program?

AWESOME PICS!

To put the quality of your shot in perspective, for those that may not realize how good the shots are, I am posting the best I can manage with a DSLR using a 200mm marco lens with a 2X Teleconverter (about $1800 in glass) of the same type of copepod. As for magnification that lens combo gives a 1:2 ratio ie the image is 2X the size of the object on the sensor.

More Please.

Hey,

Thanks for your comments.

I used an Olympus BX53 microscope with a Canon 600D attached to the photoport. The urchin spines are both stacks of about 50+ photos stacked using Zerene stacker in PMax mode. The DIC copepod was a stack of about 15 images using Zerene stacker in Dmap mode. The last polarized copepod was a single photo.

Yeah the optics in the oly is just so much better. But then again, just the 40x objective alone is $3000.
