Some short softie vids

Your soft corals are just lovely
And your black clown pair really pop in that tank
Really great videos- thanks for sharing!

Thanks rando, it's a 75G, with 4 x 110W VHO tubes...has been up and running for about a year and a half now.

I hope y'all don't mind me posting a few pics of this tank....Photobucket seems to reduce the resolution with videos, so pics are better. Some of these are from about six months ago, and some are current.

I love my Fiji yellow leather, but the one I'm most happy with is the last one....Tubipora musica, organ pipe coral.

Cheers,

very very nice lancer! how's the blue ridge coral growth? any chance that you can ship some this way? :) keep up the good work!

Hey Jun, long time!

The blue ridge is still happy and growing. After a couple of vacation trips where the low water level exposed the tips, and the skeleton started growing algae, it has now almost completely covered those areas, maybe 1/4" left. And the "skin" has completely covered the rock it's growing on, down to where it would get no light. In the back it's made a truce with some clove polyps....neither advances, neither recedes. On the side it has completely grown around the stalks of some xenias....I've finally found a way to keep xenia from spreading!

Very nice tank! What do you use for flow? And does your Yellow Fiji go through phases where it has a brownish tint when its shedding & frequency that it happens on yours, if it does?

great looking tank!! that pipe organ is really cool, kinda like a nice xenia that needs a haircut.
