Some xenia questions

Ok, someone local has offered me some xenia, 2 different kinds, and I don't know which one too pic. out of these 2 which is hardier and what are your experiences? My choices are striped xenia and pink pulsing xenia. also, I know xenia like a "dirty" tank. but when does it go from a healthy dirty to a bad dirty? I want to know how diligent I need to be with my water changes. Thanks for the help.

Not sure what the striped xenia is. But they're all pretty much the same (except for cespitularia which is true blue xenia...which is hard to grow). So IMO it doesnt really matter which one you get...whichever you like better i spose. As for the water changes...just do normal water changes. I find that the more i try to make everything precise and whatnot with stuff like that...it just backfires lol. Just let it go on its own
