someone celebrate with me, I'M GOING 180G !!!!!!!!!!! that's right, over the summer most likely, i'll be starting a 180g reef tank with in-wall sump. efore i start, if anyone has any ideas that worked with their tanks, share 'em.

I can tell you that crushed coral dont work. seaclones dont work. Bioballs have no place in a reef tank. use only quality gear. use salifert test kits. Go slow.

not using CC, going with a aquamedic turbofloter, not using bioballs in my sump. i plan on using quality gear, wasn't going to use salifert, but i'll look into them

Sound like you are on the right path. Might want to check out ASM, Euroreef, Aqua C or deltec skimmers. Cant go wrong with any of them.

i did, but too expensive. i know people will say "why not go right fromthe start and spend the extra buck", but due to current situations, i simply cannot get any of the above. that's why i'm going turbofloter, it's the next best thing.
