Something has been eating my fish's tail... Need Help!

Hello fellow reefers! Need a little help or advice here. I have a beautiful Marine Betta that has been in my tank for over 3 months now. He's been good to me. I've notice recently part of his tail will look like something has nibble it off or cut off. It regrows back pretty quick. Anyways so today I can back from work which was about 7 hours today and I notice his tail was missing a good chunk and it look like a V shape cut in his tail. I have inverts and I know better they don't mess with him. I'll try to get some pics on here when I can catch him in his cave. Its just getting annoying and would need to figure where the problem is coming from or if this is normal with these fish? Anyone has similiar problems? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

What type of inverts? What other tank mates?

More information of whats in the tank, size of the tank, how long has the rest been in there. Added anything new since him around the time you noticed the damage, etc....


If you manage to get pictures, turn the blues off and the whites all the way up!
