Something under part of red monti cap

There's something under part of my red monti. Not sure what it is. Was thinking maybe some type of anemone, ricordia, or other polyped coral.. but it seems to be damaging the part of the monti cap its touching.

I can place the rock on the sand closer to the glass for a better picture if needed.. Some tips of its tentacles look orange.

Well whatever it was its gone now, still guessing a ricordia. Killed it off because I noticed even more white on the monti it was touching this morning.
