Sony DSC-H5 blurry close ups

I can get some good shots until I try to get a good close up my camera is a sony DSC-H5 I have tried different settings but I don't know a whole lot about photography and would like some help from someone that does. I'm sure a different lens would probly help but have no idea which one to buy any help will be greatly appreciated.
