Sony Dslr

Who has one? What do you like about it? What macro lens would work best for that close up coral shot?

I personally would only go with the sony DSLR's if you already had carl zeiss or minolta lenses because from what I heard is that the sony's are all plastic.

I think nikon and canon are on top of the DSLR world right now.

Yeah I agree. Carl Zeiss makes some AWESOME lenses though. You should get a hold of one of those 50mm f/0.7's
Nah it is a film lens, but man....how cool would that be?! Only two were made that I know of and and that was over 40 years ago. I'm sure they would cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. I only mentioned it because I was telling t5Nitro about it in a recent PM.

On a realistic note, Carl Zeiss lenses are world renowned for excellency. I picked Canon because I wanted the best of the best concerning my quiver of lenses...and I feel they have it.

Thanks Guys. I already bought a sony A300 and Im really new to the whole SLR world. I no nothing about lens! I have just seen some really nice macro shots and would like to take some of my own.

Hmm I haven't researched Sony lenses in years. There are a couple of guys with A-series SLRS on these boards though.
