Hey everyone,
Quick couple of questions. I have a 65gal tall with a 20 gal fuge. Currently in the fuge there is about 35 pounds of LR, 2 species of chaeto, and one species of gracilaria. The sump is lit with a 96W coralife PC, 65k. I purchased the grac. from a LFS about 3 weeks ago.
It seems as though the grac. is getting lighter in color (bleaching?), and small portions have turned translucent. I have a mag9 as my return pump, and I also have some microbubbles from my skimmer inside the fuge, some of which have attached to the macro. Do I have too much light? Will the microbubbles kill the grac? The chaeto seems to be thriving and growing well. Thank you for any help/advice,
Nate
