Sorry, but another Gonipora question

First off, yes i know their rep. for not lasting, but since i already have one and notice that the extension only seems to be ~1/2" this is why i need help.

I seem to get more confused with the more threads i read on it. Some say it needs a lot of light...( i have 2 250hqi and 2 t5s'), and some say they need low light. I thought the Gonipora was high light and med to strong flow and the Alvepora was the low light/low flow...is this correct?

Also placement....Is the sand bed best for this coral? Like i said, the more threads and books i read, the more different answers i get.....

i have a purple gonipora and i have kept in direct under the light and its good i still see good poly extension and using one mp40 with yellow dial
