Spawning Clownfish

Interesting in raising clownfish right now. I am thinking about establishing rotifer and phyto cultures for raising babies. Does anyone have any pairs that are laying that aren't doing anything with?

Correct. Just the eggs. I can supply a tile or two for your fish to spawn on if you need it. I've also taken eggs on a piece of live rock. I have done this in the past with various species. I pick them up from the parents around 6-7 days after fertilization.

We will have to wait though, they just laid a batch on Sunday and the rock also has my anemone.

Maybe you can show me how you culture rotifers, I have done phyto but no rotis.

Rotifers are easy, but you don't to even start them until your pair has 3-5 nests down and they are not eating the eggs.

Are you interested in raising them yourself?

I have also thought about trying to have my pair adopt a spawn of eggs to tend to. I wanna try to get them to spawn.
