It is a blue line , not annularis... can buy a lot of annularis with this blue line... really nice ... is it from vietnam ? Very nice deep blue face...

Absolutely gorgeous!!! Where did you get he from? Are you concerned about him picking on your corals. Thats one of only a few of the large angels that are being aqua cultured in Asia. Again beautiful fish and good luck with him. How big is he? Regards, Tim

No they're not being Aquacultured. That was a lie and a misunderstanding due to the supplier breeding other Angels in the Pomacanthus genus. Nothing with this fish was ever Aquacultured - just wild caught and perhaps raised from Juveniles to Adult if anything.

I think he was looking for Mari-cultured....but we got the point. They actually try to raise a few angels in this manner. They scoop up plankton drift at certain spawning times of the year and see what grows out. There is a place in Florida that does this with a few Atlantic species. Very neat idea.

That is an awesome angel. I have an emperor in my reef and she is good about not picking on the things I have. I have had to get rid of a few corals that she did like, but she leaves everything else alone. She has so much personality that I adore her and would sacrifice the corals to keep her if I had to. Hope yours does well.

My LFS has a couple coming in either tommorow or tuesday direct from Vietnam, so I will have mine this week. His supplier had around 30 available. I fell in love with the blue line angel two years ago and have been searching for one ever since. I missed out on a couple last year on Diver's Den. i will be getting mine for a fraction of the price that they are offered online.

BTW- very Nice Specimen and tank Reefslugs, good luck with it.

Very beautiful fish. I would worry a bit that 2 large angels, 2 tangs, and a trigger in a 110g reef is a bit overstocked. Do you have plans to upgrade? Your current system looks awesome so I'm sure that bigger would be better ;)

Stunning fish. My lfs gets them in rarely. The last one simply would not eat anything and just wasted away. Yours looks to be large and healthy. I too like the majestic and have one about 4 inches long. I'm considering another angel from the chaetodontoplus family and might look into another blue line. Your tank is gorgeous.

Those are the two large angels on my list for my 220.

How does the blue line get along with the navarcus and how long was the navarcus in before adding this beauty?

And I am curious too, how's it been to your corals?

Any clams in your tank?

Great pics....Kind of making me rethink weather a Emperor would be my first choice when I am ready for an angel later this summer.:D
