splitting rocks

hi all
some of my rock i have is diy and
on some of the rock i see the rock splitting
does this seem normal?

Yes, it is just the drying process if the rock was not reinforced with meash or rods (which would be toxic) The rock probably dried too quickly so the rock dried on the outside and then still was expanding from the inside.

If you want more info, I can go on. Hope this helps. Is the rock in water at this time. If not, put it in. freshwater would be fine just to let it cure.
