Ok so I had posted about an ID and also had asked about a sponge growing on my torch. I have a space in my tank where I have about 60+ heads of hammer torches and frog spawn. They are very full so I never look under them. So I notice a group not as open as normal. I get a closer look and see black on the branches so I pick them up and WOW. It looks like a thin black sponge bottom to top. It is chocking out the heads and keeping them from opening all the way. So did a search and if I take the branches out of the water the sponges should die but then I would have that waist in my system. Any ideas?
