We have what we think is a sponge growing on the underside of our Goniopora. It seems like it might be irritating the Goniopora as some it in the area has died off. There are 2 growths from the under side you can clearly see one in this photo.

It appears to be a foraminiferan. They're harmless protozoans that are essentially shelled amoebas.
