Spot feeding fish

Hi all. I am trying to make fish feeding more easy. I have learned that keeping fish like pistol shrimp, puffers, eels, etc need to be spot feed and takes quite a bit on time to make sure each critter is feed. I now have two clowns. Very easy. I can throw some flakes or pellets in or I can mix up some mysis.

If I get a watchman goby, will I have to spot feed him also?? How do you guys make sure all of your fish are feed? Do you use a little turkey baster or pipette thing?

I just squirt the tank and they eat really depends on the fish

My watchman would swim out and eat like everyone else

My scooter dragonet had to be spot fed with a turkey Baster

predators like eels eat a lot and are very messy so it can be easier to just give them their chunk of food. I've seen big eels fed with like a long fork that you spike the food on.

If I have a new fish that's shy I'll put a little snack right by them until they settle in, but not after that. My watchman comes out fine. If you need to do it a turkey baster is good.

Some of my fish are more aggressive with food so I split my feedings up. I give some food and the fiesty ones go bonkers, then after 5 minutes I come back and feed some more. The second feeding is just enough to make sure the shy guys get enough too. I don't target them, it all just gets dumped in the water. Theyll find it if they're hungry.
