Spots on Chalice SPS what are they

I've had my Chalice for about 8 months now and over the last few it has started to get these spots on it. Can anyone help me with what they are.

That chalice dont look so good... chalice is an LPS btw

it's dying, what have you been feeding it?

I'd try and move it down some to see if it inflates a little more, maybe feed it if it does inflate.

I was mistaken on this guy I thought it was an sps, so I have him high in the aquarium. I will move hime to my 90gallon and place him lower in the tank. Is there any chance he'll survive?

Oh yeah I wouldn't count it out just yet by any means, it's just not happy right now. IMO chalice prefer lower light and regular feeding.

I have never feed it, I have looked at night for tenacles but have never seen any? what should I feed it?

Move it down and put it in less flow. it is VERY stressed.

any idea what kind of chalice it is? when I got it the guy just told me it was a chalice.

No feeding tenticles at night is a bad sign. These guys are hard to bring back IMO.

I moved him to my 90g reef tank, placed him at the bottom. we'll see what happens.
