Either that or it could be Sponges. I have like 10 different coloured sponges that come,get eaten and come back again
The spots are looking more and more like coralline each day. Maybe because I didn't have any significant contributor to coralline (like seeded live rock) then this is what it looks like when it grows really slow.

What would be the source of your coralline? My spots would have had to have started with a tiny bit of coralline on a single hermit crab, unless it could have been in my dry Seaflor sand...
Lynnmw1208 had this on her dry rock, and it turned pink for her. Not how I imagined coralline showing up, though!

Guess that is a good sign that my LEDs are doing their job. Although it has been 4 months since I introduced the small amount of coralline. What ratio of watts to gallons do you have? I run about 480 watts at max during the day, so about an even 1:1 ratio.
