A while ago I saw a large woodlouse thing on one of my clowns, which i believe to be an isopod. They have been getting infested with 'spots' at night which disappear when the lights have been switched on for about 2 hours. The past few days the spots havent been appearing but this morning both clowns were pickled in them and one still has what I think is mucus blotches all over him and something stuck to his gill I cant make out what it is, I have been told the spots could be baby parasitic isopods. They are both still feeding taking flake, live and frozen foods. They are the only fish in the tank, but my tank contains 5 turbo snails, 5 red leg hermits and 2 cleaner shrimp. 2 finger leather corals and a rock with mushrooms.
My params are :
PH 8.4
Ammonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 0
salinity 1024
Heres a pic of what the spots are like in the morning:
Any advice on getting rid of them.. qt is not an option at the moment Thanks
