spotted scorpionfish

I was wondering who out there is keeping a spotted scorpion fish. If so how long have you had and how big is it. I caught a very small fish in a rocky tidal area last year on a trip to Florida, it was only about an inch when I got it and I did not know what it was. It is now around 4-5 inches and I can tell its definitely a spotted scorpionfish. I just wanted to see what other peoples experience with this fish is.

Do you have the Latin name? Scorpionfish are often confused when using common names. Or you could just post a pic, we love pictures here

Scorpaena plumieri seems to be the species I find associated with that name.

Sacremon you would correct, that is the species name I found as well. In my research I see that these fish get pretty large. And from what I see they are not uncommon but I dont think I have ever come across seeing anyone keeping one.
