SPS and mushrooms

Is it alright to mix SPS and Mushrooms?

it's perfectly fine to mix them BUT keep in mind that the shrooms are going to spread and cover the rock taking up valuable real estate that most people would prefer to have their SPS located on, also if allowed to grow up around the base of the SPS they sting them and aren't easily removed.

Also they can sting the Sps and potentually kill them.
