sps and zoas

I purchased a green rasta frag from vividaquariums several weeks ago, there is some type of small sps on the frag and strangely it's doing well in my tank. Over the past few days, I've noticed that the zoas aren't doing well, the one closest to the sps has been closed for a few days. I am guessing that the sps is stinging the zoas.

Yup, the acropora will win against Zoanthids and Palythoas. Protopalythoas will take out Acropora and other SPS but the most common types (Zoas and Palys) we keep will get beaten back by the Acropora. I have a ton of different Zoanthids mounted throughout my rockwork as I was initially drawn to Zoanthids (still am) but have really gotten into Acroporas and they are beating back all the Zoas.

I don't know if it's an acropora or not. really too small to tell, but it's definitely some type of sps. I guess I will try to remove it and attach it somewhere else, since I'd really rather have the zoas at this point. the sps is only about the size of a pea
