sps birdsnest coral problem

Hello, I just bought a green birds nest sps coral. The tips of the coral have died and the white skeleton is showing. The progression has stopped. Iam wondering what will cause this? is it light shock from planting into a new tank? any suggestions and remedies would be appreciated

Part of mine died. I cut the bad parts off and the rest has recovered. Both the pink and green seem to like strong light and very low phosphates

what are you water parameters?

growth tips can be white as well...

as for high light my birdsnests do better mid to low in the tank (75 with 4 T5 bulbs).

My Bird's nest grows quicker sitting on the sand. 8 T5 bulbs over a 75.
