SPS Bleaching ??

This sounds strange : I can purchase SPS from local fish store and they turn white whithen a weak. I can purchase frags mail order from anywhere and they are fine / what gives. Water is perfect . Anyone care to explane this.

Sometimes the quality of coral purchased can really influence your success rate. I have bought several corals from a local discount retailer and have generally poor results. I bought several sps frags from a hobbyist I met here at RC and almost all of them made it and are growing quite well.
