I just bought a few sps corals.... A blue acro and a green acro. Both of them seem much lighter or not as colorful in my aquarium. The blue even looks like it has some brown at the base and the green seems to be more diluted. I also bought a birdsnest which is definetly not as bright. I use Red Sea coral pro salt, I don't supplement with trace elements. I did just re aqua scaped my aquarium to a much better scape. My nitrates were about 7 and I have 0.2 nitrite, ammonia are 0. Please give some advice. I could go buy trace elements if I need to.

Why do you have nitrites in your tank; this should be zero in a fully cycled tank. How did you cycle you tank and when did the cycle finish?

Having said that, acros normally take time to adjust to a new aquarium and the less they are disturbed the quicker they'll adjust. I would not do anything else in the aquarium such as aquascaping or stirring up the sand because acros don't like that. Just make sure they're getting the right lighting and flow and keep you alk in the range 7 dkh to 9 dkh.
Also don't move them around unless absolutely necessary. After an acro has been put into a new tank it may take 4-5 months before it starts to grow rapidly; stability is the key.
