Does anyone know for sure what this is? I've been told it may be a Pavona. Thanks.

Sure its not a stylophora? can you get a different angle of shot with a different background. And can you adjust the white balance on the photo with photo shop to make it look like it looks to your eye?

That is neat! I can't honestly tell for sure what it is? I would like to know too.

Are those mini-stars in it I see???? Never seen them IN a SPS coral!

wow, I'm glad it's getting some interest finally! it has antennae or something, either part of the coral or something living in it, that come out mostly at night (i think that's when the pic was taken). there's also a worm of some sort living either in the coral or the rock, i'm not sure, but it comes out at night too, stretching around to eat. i'll try to get some more pics posted tonight. thanks

I couldn't find the pic of the worm before having to leave for work...I'll get it tomorrow hopefully.

Actually there is a species in the Pavona genus called "Cactus". I did not go look it up but at first glance with the new pics I would tend to agree on a Pavona. Maybe Nuclear is correct and its Pavona Cactus.
