SPS in 2 Month Old Tank

Guys,
Is it ok to put SPS corals in a 2 month old tank if the water parameters are steady and being checked daily?

Please let me know, cuz I saw a few nice acros that I really don't want to pass up on.

Thank You

Definately don't try any colonies or acroporas. You really should wait another month or so but a small Montipora frag might hold up and be a good "canary in a coal mine" if you will.

Some more info on your current livestock and set-up would help.

I put in SPS corals into my tank just 2 months into the hobby, but I had set up the tank using most of the contents, live rock, water, and substrate from an already-established system. There was no detectable cycle whatsoever. How did your system start? With uncured liverock? If you were cycling the tank 2 months ago I wouldnt recommend it but it's your call :)

You may be fine. Lot's of people push the envelope of what you're "supposed to do". Some do fine and some get into trouble. Obviously the more knowledgeable ones probably do better.
