SPS Lighting Question

I have 1 LED fixture called a Stark BluNova. I got my whole setup from someone who was using it as a frag tank (75g) and it was set up when I picked it up. It was the only light on the tank. Looking around, everyone seems to have 2-3 LEDs on a tank this size - will the 1 LED fixture grow SPS on one side of the tank? I have a 2 bulb T5HO that I'm gonna set up with Coral Plus and Super Blue on the other side if it matters. If I am successful then I will get probably an AI Hydra or Sol for the other side of the tank. Still in the build phase though, waiting on an overflow.

Here is the website since I don't see them mentioned often, http://www.starkled.com/led-aquarium-light/blunova

That lights is maybe a light bigger than an ai nano. You will need something bigger for a 75 gallon tank. You can buy another led for other side of tank or get a Vega or hydra.

I was looking at the hydra, so with that and the stark I could probably grow a hippopotamus? Will the stark work on just the one side to grow sps to see if I like them?

Yes it would. Would be good to check with a par meter. But if you don't one buy some cheap frags, to see what happens. No $40 or $90 unless your rolling in the dough.
