Is the sunrise aequituberculata similar to the atlantis pink polyp cap?

The two montis are completely different. ATL pink polyped is a plating monti. This is an encrusting monti with deep folds and ridges. The aquituberculata has also never turned brown on me. If you check out my gallery you'll see a pic of the sunrise aqui, and it's deep folds.

where did you hide that gold zoa when i pick that green monti cap up from you.
BTW.it almost dark grn the looks realy good.the only thing i think im going to do is brake it up and glue it back together to get the upwards growth to stop..

Hey Doug,

It's funny that you want the upwards growth to stop since what I liked about that piece is the vertical nodular growths. But to each their own. =)

The gold zoas were in that one corner that you did not check.

Good question on the heads. I will have to update this thread later tonight.
