SPS paracite identification?

I bought 2 pieces from DFS and both have a small holes near the base. The holes are very small and each hole has 2 polyp like hairs/tentacles that stick out. At first glance I thought they were polyps but upon closer inspection they are definitely not. Are these parasites?
Should I frag my SPS and get rid of the base? I have about 4 of these on each coral and they are all located very close to each other.

I would dip the frags asap in coral rx, coral revive, or tropic marin. They could be hydriods or something different.

+1 for barnacles. I had a tri-color once that had one in it. Didn't seem to harm the coral at all.

Most likely barnacles. There are also several types of hermit crabs that can actually burrow into coral skeletons and feed on passing plankton as well. More than likely this is harmless.

There are several types of worms in my systems that look like you described when they first settle. Eventually they will build a tube and make lots of slime. Other than the slime being unsightly they dont harm the corals at all. If one settles in an inconvenient place i cover it with super glue and place a frag on top of it. In 3 months you would never know it was there. If you look in some threads i posted you can see one in the base of my purple monster. Since they were last posted i have placed a dab of sg over it and a frag to make it go away. If you let them grow the coral will grow arond them and you get coral tubes.

In a couple of months the worm will be covered.
