I have some sps in my tank doing really well I have a piece of strawberry shortcake my lighting is a 6 bulb ati sunpower about 8 inches off the water it is over a 72 gallon tank my water perimeters are good alk 8 ca 460 mag 1500 all nitrates and phosphates undetectable the question I have is my strawberry shortcake is growing it has green tips with red hue but under the branches it is brown where it is shaded is this normal is my question
Thanks in advance

In lower light areas, the coral will increase zooxanthellae density in order to obtain as much light as possible. This will normally darken the coral, and can turn it brown in these areas as well. I wouldn't be concerned. The 6-bulb Sunpower is certainly more than enough light for your tank. I run the same fixture over my 75gallon actually.
