I found this when my lights came on. My pin cushion urchin plucked a confusa frag right out of the rockwork and attached it on its back.
He cleans my BB tank well and usually picks up a stray shell or piece of rubble but never a coral.
I'm going to leave it on his back and see what happens.

Urchin is happy when they do that. If you take it off of it will get mad.

I have an urchin in a 130g (48"X24"X27") holding tank, with a floating thermometer...EVERY morning, and most nites, when I check the tank, the thermo. is on his back. Since the themo. is never floating in the same spot, he must go around the entire perimeter (12') to find it!
I think he enjoys our little 'game'!

My favorite LFS (now sadly closed due to the economy) had a tuxedo urchin in one of their display tanks that carried around a little piece of plastic that looked like a top hat. He was quite popular with the customers.
