I would like help to fill out these expected results for different conditions. Point of this would be to easier see which parameters are relevant to different problems. The question of how much or how little is also topic for discussion. We could set a standard and call it medium as usually, to much or to little of something is not good. Medium would be:

N: > 0 < 1 ppm
P: > 0 < 0.02 ppm

For instance, medium nutrient and medium light gives good growth and good colors. Obviously there are other general factors that needs to be stable and within range, and they should be checked first:

Sg: ~1,026
pH: 7,9-8,3
kH: 8-12 ppm
Ca: ~400 ppm
Mg: ~1300 ppm

Code:
                                                                                                                                                                  <table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="341"><colgroup><col style="mso-width-source:userset;mso-width-alt:3693;width:76pt" width="101"> </colgroup><colgroup><col style="width:60pt" span="3" width="80"> </colgroup><tbody><tr style="height:15.0pt" height="20"><td style="height:15.0pt;width:76pt" height="20" width="101">Nutrients</td><td style="width:60pt" width="80">Light</td><td style="width:60pt" width="80">Growth</td><td style="width:60pt" width="80">Coloration</td></tr><tr style="height:15.0pt" height="20"><td style="height:15.0pt" height="20">Low</td><td>Low</td><td>

idk if im the only one thinking this but there are so many variables it would be hard to specifically diagnose a problem based of a sheet. im an optimist though so i would love to see this progress!

There are indeed, but the number of "**** colors no polys grow you damn acropora" threads would give people a quick chart to look up if your problem is x, the reason might be z and y (old bulbs=worse light, etc etc)

And then, not to forget, the other factors which indeed would have to be in line. Out of most posts regarding these matters though, I seldom see a good solution.
