Squeaking noise during pulse mode

So I installed my Vortech last night. It runs great and I've put it into pulse mode (lower setting), but I noticed that it squeaks (similar to a hamster running on a wheel). I don't know if this is normal, but it's very annoying. I've tried adjusting it and it works for a few mins then it goes back to squeaking.
Any suggestion would be great.

Ok, now I think something else could be the an issue. Now that it's in pulse mode, it squeaks and then jams up and will try to restart. The occasionally it will restart and move again. Is this normal?

ours did that if it was not lined up just right. We had a similar noise problem and obtained an entirely new wet end from ETM. Once it broke in it helped signifiantly w/ the noise issue (so you should be fine given time), but it still had the issue of the driver trying to reset repeatedly if I didn't have it lined up just perfectly. I also strongly suspect that I needed to clean the tank side where the wet end was placed, I think that there was still some algae/slime/crud on the glass that may have been interfereing with the magnetic coupling. The wet end would rotate slightly over time (another indication that the glass was not 100% clean). I just have not had time to dig out a razor blade and scrape down that section again.

So check that your wet set placement area on the glass is clean and then play around a little with the alignment.

Now, if your "stall and reset" is not due to alignment, but just the wet end siezing up, then you may just need to let it run for a while in a different mode to get it broken in and running smoothly. When the noise goes away, so should the stalling problem. It shouldn't take more than a day or so of normal running operation (I found using a mode other than pulse to help the breakin period, but others may have had different experiences).

HTH :)
