Squid Vibration when switching

Does anyone know what would be causing a squid to casue alot of vibration when switching from one side to the other? I am powering it with a MAG5 and only like 3 or 4 foot of piping alltogether.

likely has something stuck in it. I'd try removing it and soaking in vinegar. If you've got access to an air hose, you could spray some high PSI in it to see if you can dislodge it.

Another idea is something WAS in the unit (sand, etc) and wore down the gear mech. causing the vibration now...

I agree with Nebraskareef, something WAS probably in it. Mine did the same thing and I let it go too long. The plastic gears inside went to pieces before I could do anything with it. Live and learn.

Brace the pipes too... I had mine free standing once and they would always exacerbate the vibration.
