Squigley track on glass

I have been running a reef tank for years and have never seen anything like this. If any one knows what it is please let me know. It appeared over the weekend on the front glass. It is soft and will probably come off with a scraper. It is pearly white. The squiggle is about 4 mm wide and runs a good 8 inches.

Yes it kind of looks like a snail had a bad night out drinking and lost his colon. Could be snail eggs, but I have never seen them before. Purple tang doesn't seem interested in it.
