sro 3000int or sro2000int

Either would work. The 2000 would be what i would go with, it is doing great on my 120. If you were planning a larger tank in the near future, i would d the 3000

I think the 2000 would be plenty. If you plan on upgrading in the near future to 160+ gallons I might suggest the 3000. Keep in mind, don't oversize too much otherwise you won't get consistant skimmate

that what im scared of, but it is a 90 with a 10+ fish in it and i feed heavy....i alrdy ordered the 2000 at my lfs today but just wasnt sure if i should have gone up... as long as everyone thinks ill get the same skim out of both of them ill be happy

Its a good sized skimmer, and I am impressed with its performance. In the last 2-3 years I have owned BK Mini 160, ATB 840, and skimz 181, the SRO beats them all hands down.

This is maybe a weeks worth on a very light bio load, with almost no adjustment to the skimmer:

Im planning on adding a 80 gallon frag tank to my 120 and sump, and will most likely keep this skimmer for it. Its a horrible curse in this hobby....always thinking you should have gone bigger :). I think the skimmer would be perfect for your tank.

Keep in mind that pic above is immediately on install after having other skimmers that stunk. It is far less productive now that it is caught up.I just like that pic because it is the first time in years that a skimmer has actually been able to produce that dark nasty crap, the last was an H&S a150 maybe 5-6 years ago.

its been good for me...just had to get use to it, but that was much of a prob the first skimmer i ever used was downdraft and some Becket skimmer.
