stand and sump help

well gonna get 150 drilled and building a stand for it gonna put 55 gallon in bottom for sump im gonna need any input as its first time but for starters i got plans for stand from garf.org its showing putting plywood down on top will that be ok ? all stands i have ever had has just been outside edge. second but same thing when i put 55 in bottom its gonna be on plywood as well. i have seen post's where pep's have put foam sheets down to set tank on . i know theres gonna be diff opinions. I just dont wanna set it up then fig i shoulda done? and Zack if you read this thanks for fire&ice they look great !!

I believe the foam goes under glass tanks without the plastic trim and acrylic tanks, but check with the manufacture first. As for the plywood top, if the tank has plastic trim, it will not affect how it is supported and should help prevent wracking significantly which, on a big tank, is a plus.
