Star polyps problem

I purchased some green star polyps for a lfs yesterday and only some of the polyps are open why is this?

They take time to open from acclimating to different water perameters. Check your PH amd add buffer if it is low. I have noticed if PH is low or you move or something crawls across the star polyps they will close for a while before thet come back out....:wavehand:

you have probably heard this before but just in case, careful with the placement. They are known to grow really fast

Some of them opened but some are green some are brown and shrivled up open

I love my star polyps. I have three frags right now, and they were doing great. But the last week they have all closed. Everything else in my tank is doing great. Hope nothing is eating them...
