Starcki Damsel in a Nano?

I really want to get a Starcki damsel for my 10G, but would also like to get another fish. Do you think it would be worth the risk? I want a True Perc, as well. Do you think if I put the clown in first and add the damsel a few weeks later it might work. Im prepared to watch for any aggression, and remove one of the fish if becomes a problem. It's only a 10 so taking it apart if I had to catch a fish isn't terrible. I have done a lot of googling, and it seems that the Starcki is one of the least aggressive damsels your going to find, and they are gorgeous little fish. Some people even say theirs are rather timid. I think it is worth the risk, and Im pretty sure if the Damsel tried anything the clown could take care of him-self. Do you guys think I can try it, as long as I keep a close eye out for aggression, and if necessary remove one of the fish (hopefully I won't have to).?

Damsels can get really agressive at times, especially in smaller tanks. Starki's, along with juvenile fire damsels are gorgeous, but when introduced to a tank can cause problems. If you really have your heart set out for this damsel you can introduce maybe a pseudo or basslet first, than add the starki see how they react toward each other, then take it from there.
good luck

So you guys don't think the clown could hold his own? I was under the impression they were tough little buggers when the needed to be, and could stick up for them-selves.

I had a starckii in a 17 gallon. Just make sure the other fish is a goby or blenny. My starckii left my goby alone but chased my chromis around all day long. I think as long as the other fish occupies the lower part of the tank they'll get along.

Didn't have a clown so can't speak on that.
