Starfish?

Can anyone advise whether young starfish have the same coloration as mature specimens? I ask this as I have discovered one in my tank about .5 of an inch tip to tip and it is white!

You're likely seeing adult Asterina stars.

i have heard that they are not reef safe.
but most just stay on your glass
