Starphire glass worth the $ on .75" glass?

For those who have large tanks with 3/4" glass... Do you have starphire glass and is it worth the extra $$. I have tank builders telling me no but I'm making a big time upgrade and I don't want to make a mistake.

When you get to glass that thick is exactly when its worth it!

at 3/4" regular glass may as well be tinted.

Maybe not starphire, but a good low iron glass is absolutly worth it.
