Do you guys/gals that have starphire glass have it on the front and sides or just the front; is it worth the extra$$? Thanks Jeff

I just picked up a 240g, with starfire on the front and sides, for a customer and a 280g room divider tank without. Totally recommend the starfire if you can squeeze it in. colors are great. Good luck

what exactly is it that makes it so much better quality than other glass? Why does it have a "clearer" view.

Standard float glass has an iron content which imparts a slight green tinge. Starphire glass is crystal clear due to low iron content. It has the most natural colour rendition possible and the quality of light transmission is truly spectacular.
