Starphire matter on a large tank?

I've always had smaller tanks, up to 75 gallons. Considering having a 240 or larger made. I never cared that it wasn't starphire before, but does a larger tank or a thicker glass mean the green tint is more pronounced in any way? Or if I don't mind with a 75, would I not mind with a 240?

I have a 225 with a starfire front and regular glass on the sides. When looking from the corner you can definitely tell a difference. The starfire gives a crisp, bright view while the regular glass side does have what I would call a duller look. I f they were not side by side I don't know if I would be able to tell the difference though.

I have a 109 gal shallow rimless made with 1/2" starfire on all 4 sides and 3/4" on the bottom. It's a nice touch to have the starfire on all 4 sides so I would recommend it if your budget allows for it. When the tank was empty, the thicker bottom glass looked very green in comparison to the sides and I think the thickness of the glass also has a lot to do with my perception. My 40 gallon sump is made of regular 1/4" glass and I don't notice as much green in it. Hope that helps.
