well my 5+ year old stars and stripes puffer jumped out of the tank around 4am...he knocked open the glass canopy enough where the glass stayed open and puffer ended up on the floor..man that was a noise to say the least at 4am..didnt know puffers were jumpers...and he is currently the only fish in the 210g and has been the only fish in the fowlr tank for 2+ years seems to be ok at the moment

Wow I'm glad you able to rescue him. A few months ago my male bluejaw trigger jumped, I found him dead when I got home from work; I must have left the top open when I fed. My fuzzy dwarf lion jumped into the overflow in 2 different tanks. More fish jump than you think, I highly recommend screen tops for anyone running a topless tank.

My male blue jaw trigger jumped too. Luckily my wife saw it happen and saved him. Whew

Seems like we should start adding Bluethroat Triggers to the list of common jumpers... Every fish can jump, but it seems like the BT's do more than most other triggerfish..
Maybe they're scaredy cats :)

Unfortunately I don't think my wife would ever pick a fish up. Not barehanded anyway. Good thing I have a canopy.
