My three year-old was playing with her doll this week and took her to the pretend fish store. She told my wife that she and the doll were on a daddy-daughter date (apparently that's where I always take my daughter when we go out together ).

Teena, she is a little doll. Congrat on joining the pico club!! It is a challenge. The evaporation is unreal. Even with 2 heaters in the filter and a heater blowing on the tank, on cold nights it is a challenge to keep the heat high enough. I lined my light with silver mylar (cut from a mylar balloon) and it really increased the light.

I got a little heater from walmart for up to 5 gallons and then another one that is shaped like a credit card. I got it at Petco or Petsmart. You do not set the temp on them and they supposedly only raise the temp about 4 degrees.

I just PM'ed you, but I used a Hydor Theo 25w heater in it when I had it, and it worked great. Never got outside of 1.5 degree or so of what I had it set at. It got cold in my tank room at nights, and the 25w Theo kept it right where it was supposed to be.
