All I can say is that Im running out of room again.....Now Im thinking of taking down the spare bedroom and making it a fish room....."REMEMBER iM SINGLE"........anyhow was setting up the doser and running the lines...buy just didnt see the room under the tank...so for now it on a coffee table next to the tank

There are 2 pictures here the top shows the lines coming in one one each side dripping in the flow of the powerhead....the bottom is just the doser and jugs.....starting out with 1mL per hour for part A/B

That looks good Brian. I think I will sell the doser I got and buy the same one you have.

[Andrea those are the same two bottles Igot from you just getting around to using them....whenthese are done I going to make my own.......

I got one off Ebay fairly cheap, but it didn't come with tubing and I think it can only do one, not two part.

I can't bother making my own, the B- Ionic is cheap enough.

I do drip kalkwasser in addition though. I also have a calcium reactor ready to set up when it becomes necessary. Today my calcium was at 450, so I'm good for now without it.

well I bumed my calcium up yesterday 380 to 420....Hopeing withthe 2 partI can keep it stable......Need to hook up my Ph probe in the morning

Brian, I would make the drip on the other side of the tank, on top of the overflow, in that way it will dilute and mix as it goes down to your sump and then be deliver to your main display with your current flow.

Im mixing 2 parts...So your saying the one side is ok...and put the other side in the overflow.?

no, both should go on top of the overflow, the mixing will happen on the overflow and sump and then back to the tank
Ok went with your suggestion....whipped up a couple of brackets
Thanks Rogger

At just a few mils per hours it's not going to have any effect on the tank if it's dripped straight in the display. No? I dump 100s of mils in at one time into the display by my seio and it has no effect.

I don't think it's a bad idea to drip in the overflow, just not neccessary.

This is true, under normal circumstances it is not going to harm if you drip it on the display it self, I just do my kalkwasser dripping in the overflow as an extra precaution, I have had incidents in which I have forgotten to turn the ATO off when doing a water changes and the ATO sensor has detected a low water level and started to pump kalkwasser in the tank for the entire period of time I was doing the water change, sure enough all the kalkwasser went to the sump first were it diluted and returned to the tank afterwards elevating the ph temporarily but not really harming anything.

So Chris your sayin it dont made a differents where I have the drips come in. I didnt get a bunch of instuctions with the doser but customer service said if I keep the 2 lines apart from each other I will be fine. I think the drip over the overflow makes me think it would get to more parts of the tank.....
BTW Im not dosing that much at first 3mL per hour...plus with the duel line you only get a 1/3 of that....so Im thinking 24mL per day
